Our update to our original post on July 8th shows and proves that some of the methods to enhance our Alexa ranking has been a success. On July 8th we were sitting at around 920K and have now climbed below the 770 K mark. Through some posts on various forums using our redirect to our site we have seen a substantial amount of traffic and also we have incorporated some article writing around the subject. We are researching for more great ways and ideas to help increase our and the ranking of our customers. Stay tuned and check for more updates.
We have been researching many ways in which to increase our traffic, readership, and ultimately our Alexa ranking. We have stumbled on a few good pointers that we are going to try over the next month to see what our results will be. For starters everyone recommends adding the Alexa Widget to your site as seen here:
So as you can see we are starting out at a 920K ranking which is not great but is better than the 3 million we started at over 2 months ago.
A few more pointers to help:
Use Alexa redirects on your website URL. Try this:
1) http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?www.vontusuccess.com . Replace vontusuccess.com with the URL for your website. Leave this redirected URL in blog comments as well as forum signatures. This redirect will count a unique IP address once a day so clicking it multiple times won’t help.
2) Get Dugg or stumbled as this will help drive massive amounts of traffic if your blog is picked up
3) Write a blog about how to increase your Alexa ranking as we have done here
4) Encourage others to review your site through Alexa Toolbar

Last night as we saw results from the elections, I was amazed at how early the news sources were calling most of the races. There was one in Ohio, where they showed the Republican Congressman ahead by 5K votes, with only 1% of the precincts, but had made the call that the Democratic challenger had already won? WHAT? I nearly threw my remote through the TV. The left wing media should give the American public some credit and not start to insult our intellegince with such rhetoric.
While the outcome of the mid-year elections were not in favor of the Republicans, the public has spoken and the war was obviously playing a big part. The great part of about our country is that we are free to vote, and express our opinions, and I think some people forget that freedom comes with a price. We will wait and see what the public sentiment is when the Presidential elections take place. I hope that we can see past the negativity and elect those who will not be afraid to take a stand for the country.
